[Kaunas, Lithuania — June 5, 2025] — Freya Cultivation Systems, a startup in advanced greenhouse technologies, announces the launch of its new demo greenhouse in Lithuania, featuring Aeroframe™ — a revolutionary cultivation platform now growing high-density strawberries.
Freya will also be showcasing its Aeroframe system at GreenTech 2025 in Amsterdam, Stand 05.610.

Aeroframe: More Yield, Greater Profits, Less Waste
Aeroframe™ is a revolutionary cultivation platform — a triangular A-frame structure, powered by proprietary mobile ultrasonic aeroponics, developed over years of research and engineering. Unlike anything currently on the market, Aeroframe maximizes vertical space and airflow while delivering consistent, clog-free nutrient mist directly to plant roots.
The system is now operating in Freya’s new demo greenhouse in Lithuania, setting new standards for efficiency and yield. While Aeroframe is adaptable to a variety of crops, Freya is currently showcasing its performance with strawberries — achieving a planting density of 33 plants per square meter, compared to the industry average of 12.5 — delivering 2.6× higher density and a direct path to greater profitability.

"The Aeroframe will allow us to save approximately 30% on upfront CAPEX by reducing greenhouse area and doubling cultivation capacity"

Freya and Boundless Haven Solutions Announce New Strategic Projects
Following successful trials with tomatoes, Boundless Haven Solutions (BHS), a Canadian company, has selected Freya’s Aeroframe for two major new developments:
- Bird’s eye chili production for export markets in Nairobi, Kenya.
- Premium tomato production in Djibouti, in challenging desert environments.
BHS has trialled Freya’s aeroponic irrigation systems in Djibouti’s challenging environment for over a year growing cherry tomatoes, and has demonstrated exceptional product quality, improved taste profiles, and double the crop cycle count compared to traditional irrigation systems.
“We have tested Freya’s systems extensively and are very happy with the results, both on the produce and the ultrasonic systems. The Aeroframe will allow us to save approximately 30% on upfront CAPEX by reducing greenhouse area and doubling cultivation capacity,” said Pierre Guillemette, CTO of BHS. “We also estimate up to a 30% reduction in production costs by spreading climate control expenses across double the plant count.”
The move positions BHS at the forefront of sustainable, high-efficiency agriculture in East Africa — with Freya’s Aeroframe as a core technology.

Aeroframe: A New Standard in Commercial Growing
Built for scale, the Aeroframe™ platform transforms how greenhouses operate. By combining modular mobility with proprietary aeroponics, Aeroframe enables growers to:
- Double revenues by doubling cultivation area per square meter.
- Triple EBITDA by multiplying output without multiplying operational costs.
- Accelerate time to fruiting, extend cycles and improve product quality — with thicker skins, longer shelf life, and stronger plants.
For new greenhouses, Aeroframe reduces the required footprint to reach target production volumes — slashing upfront CAPEX. For existing greenhouses, Aeroframe upgrades infrastructure to 2× revenue and 3× EBITDA potential — without expansion.
The demo greenhouse, already operational in Lithuania, is now growing strawberries at a planting density of 33 plants/m² — nearly than 2× the density of conventional systems.
“With the Aeroframe, we’re delivering the first truly scalable, high-efficiency aeroponic platform for commercial agriculture,” said Lukas Bartusevicius, CEO of Freya Cultivation Systems. “We are very much looking forward to providing visionary growers with the next evolutionary step in greenhouse productivity.”
Proven, Advanced — and Out of This World
Freya’s systems are already powering the cultivation of lettuce, potatoes, tomatoes, cannabis, and more. A confidential space agency is currently evaluating Freya’s aeroponics technology for lower orbit agriculture.
In recent research, Vytautas Magnus University doubled secondary metabolites in stevia using Freya’s ultrasonic aeroponics — unlocking new frontiers in crop quality.
Freya is also advancing a groundbreaking cannabis production system, currently in development and scheduled for a public reveal later this year.
For 2026, Freya is planning to introduce a fully automated lettuce cultivation system boasting over 100 plants per m2.

Why Freya Aeroponics Is Different
Unlike traditional aeroponics that depend on high-pressure pumps and easily clogged nozzles, Freya’s ultrasonic irrigation system uses vibration to create a fine, reliable mist — with no clogs, no high pressure, and no downtime. With low energy needs, full recirculation and none of the traditional substrate, Freya’s aeroponic systems are the most sustainable option on the market.
This technical breakthrough — years in the making — delivers a simpler, more scalable way to use aeroponics at commercial scale, offering consistent root zone hydration, faster growth, and superior plant health.
Complex engineering — made simple for the grower.
